It'd be a bit strange if we, a paintball site, didn't advocate for playing paintball. But our sheer love of the game isn't the only thing fuelling our effort to promote paintball- it's a simple fact that paintball is just good for you, your soul, your chakras... don't believe me? Keep reading, you'll see what I mean.
Major Stress Relief
It’s safe to say that these days we are all in need of a stress outlet. I don't think there is a better way of venting your frustration than playing a game of paintball. Its commonly known that intense exercise releases a rush of endorphins, the same endorphins help to eliminate mental stress and achieve a state of calmness - and if you can bring the source of your stress with you and pepper them with a few paintballs, well, that really does sound like stress relief to me (yes, you absolutely should invite your boss along to your next paintballing office party).
Teamwork, Leadership, and Self-Confidence
The paintball community has always been vast, incredibly diverse, and super chatty. It’s a game that requires a hell of a lot of teamwork, and a lot of the time, you’ll be playing with people you’ve met for the first time that day. Because of this, paintball is a fantastic way of meeting new people and making new friends. It’s a game that, when played well, requires strategy, execution, and teamwork. You can quickly form bonds with strangers, boost your leadership skills and improve your self-confidence.
Full Body Workout
If you’ve ever played a game of paintball, you’ll know just how physically intense it can be. Diving, dodging, sprinting, and shooting during a fast-paced game certainly keeps you on your toes, whilst adding variety to your workout routine. Paintball can also aid in weight loss. Intense exercise, such as that that occurs during a session of paintball, can improve sleep cycles and boost metabolism as well as burning calories- I think it's safe to say I'm not the only one in need of a metabolism boost after this series of unfortunate lockdowns...
Getting Outdoors is Good for You
It is well known that outdoor exercise is a mood booster, and helps improve your outlook, focus and immunity. Studies have shown that physical activity outdoors lowers blood pressure and heart rate, while fresh air can help alleviate insomnia.
If you've made it this far, you'll now be well versed in the absolute miracles playing paintball can do for you - I'd hate to say I told you so, but, well, I told you so.
